Evangelos Stefanidis

Evangelos Stefanidis is a highly certified cardiologist and cardiac sonographer with formal recognition and clinical experience spanning both Greece and Belgium. He is a premier specialist in standard and advanced transoesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography, holding prestigious certifications from the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).

Following an intensive non-invasive cardiovascular imaging clinical fellowship at the OLV Hartcentrum in Aalst, Belgium, he took on his current role as the Head of the Echocardiography Department within the Cardiology Clinic at the Metropolitan Hospital. His published research focus extensively highlights the evaluation of left atrial function, strain imaging surveillance during chemotherapy, and cardiotoxicity tracking in breast cancer therapies.
