Margherita Perlato

Margherita Perlato is a dedicated medical doctor currently completing her residency in Allergology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Florence. She graduated with her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Pavia and completed clinical rotations during her studies and residency across distinct fields, including immunoallergology, pulmonary medicine, dermatology, infectious diseases, and emergency medicine. She also extended her international clinical exposure through the Erasmus programme and medical clerkships at the Universitätsklinikum Mainz in Germany.

Dr. Perlato is highly active within the medical community, serving as an abstract presenter and invited speaker on specific topics such as drug desensitization mechanisms, the clinical outcomes of biological therapies like omalizumab, and anaphylaxis management protocols at major clinical symposia. Her research excellence was highlighted when she won the "Lapo e Filippo Tesi Award" for her clinical investigation regarding the psychopathological screening of allergy outpatients. Additionally, she functions as the Representative of the Junior Members of the Italian Society of Allergology, Asthma and Clinical Immunology (SIAAIC).
