Dr. med. Galleon Graetz is a specialized specialist in internal medicine certified by the FMH (Foederatio Medicorum Helveticorum), focusing on cardiovascular risk prevention. He completed his medical studies at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich, obtaining his federal medical diploma in 1982. Between 1983 and 1998, he built extensive clinical experience by working as a resident and attending physician across several medical departments, including internal medicine, diagnostic radiology, surgery, and infectiology at institutions such as Spital Limmattal, Universitätsspital Basel, Universitätsspital Zürich (USZ), Kantonsspital Frauenfeld, and Stadtspital Waid. He notably spent four years as the Deputy Chief Physician at the Spital schweizerische Pflegerinnenschule.
On April 1, 1998, Dr. Graetz established the Medizinisches Zentrum Römerhof in Zurich, operating as an independent specialist in internal medicine. Over the years, he expanded his expertise into insurance medicine, obtaining credentials as a confidential medical advisor (Vertrauensarzt) in 2009 and becoming a certified medical expert for the Swiss Institute for Insurance Medicine (SIM) in 2010. In 2013, he was appointed Chief Physician of the Medical Evaluation Center (medizinische Begutachtungsstelle) in Zurich. He later transitioned the Medizinisches Zentrum Römerhof into a limited liability company (GmbH) in 2017.
