Vasiliki Katsi

Vasiliki Katsi is a highly accomplished Consultant Cardiologist with an extensive background in echocardiography and hypertension management. She currently serves as the Supervisor of the Exercise Stress Test Department, the Emergency Department, and the pre-operative assessment unit at the Hippokrateion General Hospital of Athens. Accredited as a Clinical Hypertension Specialist by the European Society of Hypertension , her clinical expertise also spans preventive cardiology, acute care, and cardiology in pregnancy.

On the academic front, Dr. Katsi earned her PhD in Cardiology with cum laude honors from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a widely recognized researcher, having published 66 papers indexed in PubMed (serving as first author in 44 of them) and delivering 150 invited lectures at national and international congresses. Her contributions have been recognized with a Scientific Excellence Award from the American Heart Association , and she serves as the elected Treasurer of the Hellenic Hypertension Society.
