Serdar Erdine

Serap Erdine is an Emeritus Professor in the Cardiology Department at Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine. She currently serves as the President of the Turkish Society of Hypertension and Atherosclerosis. Throughout her influential career, she has held top international committee roles, including serving as Vice-President of the European Society of Hypertension and as a multi-year member of the joint Guidelines Committees for both the WHO-ISH and the European Society of Cardiology.

Professor Erdine's major research achievements include receiving the prestigious IBM "Shared University Research – SUR – Award", which was given for the first time within a medical classification for her pioneering work on web-based observational frameworks in hypertension.
