Kyung Woo Park

Dr. Kyung Woo Park is a Tenured Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Center at Seoul National University College of Medicine and Hospital. He earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from Seoul National University and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Park is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and he serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Circulation: Cardiovascular Intervention.

A prolific researcher with nearly 250 publications in SCI-indexed journals, Dr. Park’s expertise covers clinical trials, antiplatelet therapy, and vascular biology. He has led several significant investigator-initiated trials, including the EXCELLENT, HOST-REDUCE-POLYTECH, and HOST-EXAM trials. His leadership experience is extensive, having served as the Chief Innovation and Quality Officer at Seoul National University Hospital and currently chairing the Congress Management Committee for the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiology.
