Alessio Mazzoni is a professional biologist and current Type A Researcher (MED/04) in the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine at the University of Florence, operating within the Diagnostic Center of Cytofluorimetry and Immunotherapy at the Careggi University Hospital. He achieved his PhD in Medical Oncology, Surgery, and Clinical Immunology from the Second University of Naples, supplemented by a residency specialization in Clinical Pathology and Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Florence.
